Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic (PK/PD)Resource Director: Robert DiPaola, MD PK and PD studies are critical to cutting edge phase I and pilot trials involving evaluation of new therapeutic agents, and in the development of new drug combinations. In particular, PK/PD studies are used to define optimal doses and schedules of administration for new compounds with limited toxicity. The PK/PD Shared Resource of CINJ provides a centralized, high quality, cost-effective facility for performing clinical and preclinical pharmacologic studies. Location Objectives
