August, M.D., Lauri Goodell, M.D., Ph.D., Michael Reiss, M.D., David Foran, Ph.D. The objective of the Tissue Analytic Services Shared Resource is to provide collection, preservation and management of human tissues and body fluids in a cost-effective manner to investigators at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. In addition to collecting tissues, it offers services for laser capture microdissection, automated immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization, and creation and manufacture of tissue microarrays. The shared resource also maintains a web-based tissue database. Currently underdevelopment is a DNA Banking Service, which will be available in 2007.
